Get Complete Female Infertility Treatments under an Umbrella

Infertility is an issue that most women worry too much about. But there is no need to worry because infertility can be treated. Women who come to me for fertility treatment will have their menstrual, medical, surgical, and coital history examined. Below are the treatments I provide to treat infertility in women.
Success
Fertility counselling
Being unable to bear a child is stressful for couples and can lead to strain in their relationships. Fertility counselling is a psychotherapy treatment designed to help patients understand infertility and how they feel about it.
Attending these sessions with their partners can help women sort out their feelings and understand their choices. This step is highly recommended for couples who seek in vitro fertilisation.
Ovulation induction
Ovulation induction is a hormonal therapy that simulates the development of eggs in the ovaries, i.e., ovulation. This drug is administered to women who don’t ovulate regularly on their own—women with irregular periods.
This process examines the potential of the ovaries to ovulate for reproductive females. It also helps in assisted reproductive techniques for anovulatory females.
Ovulation induction can be done for women with irregular menstrual cycles before conducting IUI.
Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)
Intrauterine Insemination is a procedure for treating infertility where sperm are placed directly into the uterus when the ovary releases the eggs. The sperm then swims to the fallopian tube and fertilises the egg.
This procedure is done for couples who have failed to conceive even after medication and timed intercourse. Patients who suffer from the following reasons can also opt for IUI.
- Men with a slight to moderate decrease in sperm count and/or motility.
- Women with mild endometriosis.
- Couples whose infertility cannot be explained (unexplained infertility).
In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF)
In Vitro Fertilisation is one of the most prominent types of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). This procedure is done for men and women with fertility issues and genetic problems that prevent them from conceiving.
It is a series of procedures where the sperm fertilise the woman’s egg in a laboratory under artificial conditions. Once the egg is fertilised, the developed embryo is placed back into the uterus for further growth. The success of this procedure depends upon the quality of the egg and sperm and the age and medical history of the couple.
Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)
This is a type of IVF where instead of placing the egg among several sperm, a single healthy sperm is selected and injected into the egg’s cytoplasm for fertilisation. Male fertility issues are the primary cause for this procedure to be followed.
This procedure is preferred when the sperm has trouble penetrating the egg’s shell (zona pellucida), or the quality of the egg and sperm is low. With ICSI, these problems can be eliminated. Experts test the egg and sperm, and the one with the highest possibility of pregnancy is selected for this process.
PGT-A/PGT-M
PGT-A (Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidy) or PGT-M (Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Monogenic disorders) are procedures in which embryos developed through IVF methods are tested for any genetic disorders before being implanted into the uterus.
- PGT-A is done to identify embryos with chromosomal abnormalities that will affect the embryo. Also called PGS (Preimplantation Genetic Screening), this test identifies embryos with a normal number of chromosomes (euploid) and those with an abnormal number of chromosomes (aneuploid).
- Also called PGD (Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis), PGT-M is done to identify and prevent certain genetic diseases from being passed on from the parent to the child.
Laser Assisted Hatching (LAH)
This method improves the efficiency of assisted reproductive techniques such as IVF and ICSI. It makes it easier for embryos to “hatch” or break through their outer layer (zona pellucida) and attach to the uterus for further development.
Embryo freezing
Embryo freezing or embryo cryopreservation is a technique in which fertilised eggs created during IVF or ICSI are stored in extremely cold temperatures for later use. This procedure is done to assist couples with fertility issues so that they don’t have to go through the egg and sperm retrieval process once more.
Oocyte freezing
Oocyte or egg cryopreservation is the method of freezing a woman’s egg for future use. These unfertilised frozen eggs can be thawed and combined with sperm and implanted into the uterus in the future (IVF).
Causes of female infertility
In today’s world, infertility has become common among both men and women. Their unhealthy lifestyle and hormonal issues are major reasons for infertility in women. Some of the possible factors that can cause infertility in women are,
- Failure to ovulate,
- Age,
- Issues with the menstrual cycle,
- PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome),
- POI (Primary Ovary Insufficiency),
- Uterine Fibroids,
- Autoimmune disorders, and
- STIs (Sexually Transmitted Infections).

Frequently asked questions
The primary symptom of female infertility is the inability to get pregnant. The other symptoms include
- A long gap between one menstrual cycle and another (more than 35 days),
- A short gap between one menstrual cycle and another (less than 21 days),
- Irregular or no periods that can indicate that you are not ovulating.
Endometriosis is where tissues that typically grow in the uterus start growing in other places. This extra growth and its removal through surgery can cause scarring, which can block the fallopian tubes and keep an egg and sperm from uniting.
Infertility can be caused for various reasons. Some of them are
- Age,
- Weight,
- Irregular periods,
- PCOD (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome),
- Smoking and alcohol,
- Sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and
- Autoimmune disorders.
Women who wish to prevent fertility issues can take these simple but effective measures.
- Maintain a healthy weight
- Avoid smoking and alcohol
- Reduce stress
